Still looking for land
As many of you know, we've been looking for land for a little while now. We've followed up on numerous leads, but so far nothing has proven to really be what we're looking for. We've got a few leads right now, and one in particular sounds like it may be promising, but the price is an issue. They are priced way outside the market for the area they're in--2.7 times higher than the average sale price of a buildable lot, and this lot has a lot of undesirable qualities that would suggest it should sell for less, not more, than the average price. So, we'd need them to come down to a more reasonable price--we'll see what they have to say once we make them an offer.
We'll see how things develop! If they're not willing to be reasonable on the price, we'll just keep looking elsewhere. There's a lot of opportunity in this market!
offer on timber
Hello Josh and Kerin! It's been a long time since we were able to catch up but I would really appreciate the chance to cross paths with you and your family once again. I also have what is looking like an incredible instance of Providential timing that may be of great benefit to you as you look at building your own log home. My suitor and I are looking at building our first home and have an offer we'd like to extend to you on a lot of yellow pine. If we can find other buyers who would be interested in making a purchase on the same lot, we could cut our individual expenses down by half for the timber that we each need. If you are interested immediately, it would be wonderful to get in contact again about all of this and see if it truly is a case of the Lord opening doors for both our purposes.
Beautiful girls!! Kerin, I hope you are doing well as you near the end of this last trimester. :-)
In the Lord,
Rachel Faudree
